Our Councils

Multicultural Greek & Fraternal Council (MGFC)

The Multicultural Greek & Fraternal Council is culturally-based fraternities and sororities who serve to coordinate programs between its own members, members of the council and the rest of the community with an emphasis on service and culture. MGFC is comprised of fraternities and sororities that identify as Historically Black, Latinx Based, African-Social Justice and Asian-Interest Organizations.

Interfraternity Council (IFC)

We, the Interfraternity Council, exist to promote the shared interests and values of our member fraternities: leadership, service, brotherhood, and scholarship.

Panhellenic Council (PHC)

Panhellenic's mission is to foster supportive environment, which values scholarship, philanthropy, leadership, and personal growth through a unified sisterhood.  Our sororities are values based social organizations, providing members with a tight-knit community of peers, and personal growth opportunities through leadership development and service projects.

Chapter Live-In-Advisors/House Directors

Who are Live-In-Advisors? Live-In-Advisors are employed by each organization and serve their chapters in various capacities and have different roles. They interact with all members on a daily basis. Please see below for available positions.

Open Positions:

Kappa Kappa Gamma is seeking a live-in House Director

The House Director plays a vital role in supporting the member experience by fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and safe living environment. This individual helps maintain a strong sense of community within the chapter, encourages positive member engagement, and oversees the day-to-day operations of the chapter facility.

While the House Director collaborates with the House Board, they are expected to exercise independent judgment in managing daily responsibilities, as the employer does not maintain a full-time on-site presence.

Compensation includes free room and board (non-taxable). Board includes lunch and/or dinner six days a week. A taxable stipend of $1,000 per month is provided, payable year-round (12 months), and reported as W-2 earnings. Bonuses may be available. No pets allowed. A minimum two-year commitment is preferred.

The position is currently held by a Cornell staff employee. Resume and references are required.

Delta Upsilon

Delta Upsilon fraternity at 6 South Avenue (just below Law School) is hiring a Resident Advisor for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026.  This live-in position is required by Student & Campus Life. Candidates must demonstrate leadership qualities in group settings – academic teams, athletic teams, Greek living, associations, etc.  Two-room suite on top floor of house, private bathroom.  Free room and board (non-taxable).  Board is lunch and dinner five days a week.  Taxable stipend of $1,000 per month payable all year (12 months). W-2 earnings.  Position currently held by 3rd year law student. Resume and references required

Sigma Pi, Resident Advisor:

Summary: The duties and responsibilities below are a general outline and not to be considered inclusive. The Resident Advisor shall jointly report to the Mu Chapter Alumni Association, Inc. (“Alumni Corp”) and the Mu Chapter Housing Corporation (“Housing Corp”) and contact the appropriate officer with any questions about the policies, regulations or expectations. Mu Chapter Alumni Association Inc. and the Mu Chapter Housing Corporation may from time to time request other reasonable duties to be performed as the need dictates.
